Must Play List: 86 Days to Go

Started filling out or DJ's online forms today, letting them know what songs we want and where, what are the must plays (sentimental songs we sing to each other at karaoke, awwwwwwwwwww) and what are the do not plays (anything about cheating or breaking up).

Don't forget to request songs for the reception on our website!

It's Hip to be Square: 87 Days to Go

The invitations shipped today.  We want to get them out by the middle of August, so get ready to hear all sorts of exciting tales of double-sided tape and misaddressed labels!

Unfortunately, I just found out that it apparently costs more to ship square invites than rectangular, regardless of weight.  Yay, mounting costs!      

 

Being Difficult: 88 Days to Go

Our many thanks go out to the staff of David's Bridal in Canton for bearing with us even though we stayed well past closing.  It's nice to encounter people who are friendly and accommodating and we (being Erica, myself and maid of honor Shanda) all being familiar with working customer service, apologized profusely.

Beervana: 89 Days to Go

What the heck are we going to do in Portland, of all places, you ask?  Well, we spent a good chunk of tonight planning just that.

Pulling the Trigger part 2: 90 Days to Go

As promised we pulled the trigger on our honeymoon plans today.  Sleeping on it didn't really give us any added perspective (not that we needed any, we were pretty happy with things yesterday) but it did put us one day closer to the deadline so it had to be done.

Perhaps I should be more actively excited that we're definitely going on a honeymoon and the plans are finally made.  I'll get there as soon as I get over the horrible dread that we did something wrong and there's no going back.

Pulling the Trigger: 91 Days to Go

The honeymoon is all planed, worked out, decided upon and ready to go.  We just need to click the button and make it happen.  Of course we're sleeping on it and pulling the trigger tomorrow.  Making plans isn't that difficult.  Signing contracts, finalizing sales, clicking "go" and being filled with the immediate dread that we've done something horribly wrong and there's no going back... that's the hard part.

We got our first official wedding gift in the mail!  Exciting!
